What We've Accomplished

On November 29, 2022, SRMOA residents met at City Hall, asking Council members to reduce the RCO (rent control ordinance) of 100% of CPI and the 6% cap
​
In December 2022, Council member Natalie Rogers made a motion for 70% of CPI with a 4% cap, and 10% in-place transfer fee. It passed and went into effect on January 6, 2023.
​
On June 20, 2023, SRMOA residents met at City Hall, requesting Mayor and Council members to correct the disparity in the five parks left out of the 2023 rent control ordinance.
​
​On July 11, 2023, the Santa Rosa Housing and Community Development Department presented a solution to the City Council for the five parks left out of the 2023 rent control revision. It was voted on, and unanimously accepted.
